French Wine & Fun at the Member’s Reception!

Last Saturday, Lane Motor Museum hosted our Annual Member’s Reception.

This year’s event was planned in honor of our “new” 1919 Leyat Replica,
which arrived recently from Meursault, France.  French cheeses, wines and even French music were enjoyed at the event.

Members received an exclusive first look at the Leyat which was powered
up periodically throughout the reception.  Museum staff was careful to put the food and beverages far from the Leyat’s whizzing blades and any objects it might have stirred up in the restoration shop.  Members were also treated to a private tour of the museum’s basement collection which stores about 170 additional cars that can’t always be seen on the museum floor.
